In Diner Dash, players take on the role of Flo, a former office worker turned restaurateur, as she builds her culinary empire across four unique diners. With the goal of delivering exceptional customer service, Flo must rapidly seat patrons, take orders, serve food, collect payments, and clean tables within time limits. Players can choose between direct control and a point-and-click style with customizable hotkeys to optimize Flo's efficiency. A heart meter tracks customer satisfaction, which decreases as patrons become impatient. If the meter empties completely, customers will leave, resulting in loss of business and revenue.
